NEWS SUMMER 2010
Congratulations to all those who graded for their yellow belt both senior and junior from Balbriggan and Ratoath in the Ratoath Dojo on Thursday 8th July last under O'Sensei Ward and in Coolmine Sports Complex on Saturday 26th June under O'Sensei Ward and Sensei Rossitter. A particular well done for the students who graded outside their own dojo's as we know this was particularly nerve racking for you. Well done to the students who successfully passed the grade and also to those who did an excellent grade on the night and received an extra tag for their efforts. The practice paid off and well done to you all.We have all the Certificates and will give them out in September. We would also like to thank O'Sensei Ward for taking the time to come out and grade the students. We were all delighted to see him and look forward to his next visit. A big well done to all our students in their age appropriate classes who received badges. A lot of hard work has gone into obtaining these badges and you all did great guys.
We would also like to congratulate our Senior Student who has come back traing after a long absense. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome her back to the Kantanni Karate Do Association and also commend her on re-achieving her rank as Red Belt gold tip. We look forward to her next grade brown belt in the near future.
We would also like to wish our two students going forward for their Red Belt grade during the summer in Coolmine Dojo as per Kantanni Karate Do Grading Regulations.(All Senior Grades blue belt and above and Junior Grades red belt and above must take place in the Main Dojo in Coolmine Sports Complex. These rules apply to all students and Dojo's within the Kantanni Karate Do Association as per written notification received on the matter). We wishe them the very best of luck. They have been training very hard over the last few months and hopefully they will be successfull (we will keep you posted)
We hope you are all enjoying the Summer Break (and have your brolly's nearby). Remember to practise a little bit but often over the summer and make your return in September a little easier.
